I have flown with pretty much all major nordic airlines and I must say I have never had such experience. I didn’t expect such a low quality flight.
I came back from Paris last Sunday. The flight had 2 hours delay. No big deal, but it was 2 hours of pure stupidity. The plane came from London on time and was supposed to pick up people in Paris "on their way" to Reykjavik. But apparently Iceland Express didn’t think it was probably a good idea to give the staff in the CDG terminal this information. After checking-in half of the passengers, they realized that most of the seat were actually taken already… Flight registration got messed up and their check-in software system got suspended. We waited for an hour for this to get fixed. When it started over again they sent half of the people in the non Schengen area and the other half in some other gate. Both "gate staff" told each group that the gate was the other one. And this circus continued literally 5 times. 5 times those two groups of people (including me) crossed their way and repassed the police each time. Which means queueing for 10 minutes and getting half naked each single time. When I asked the hysterical staff ladies working at that CDG terminal, they were pretty pissed off by Iceland express not caring less. The only information they got from them was a 3 pages photocopy listing the passengers for this flight.
I think the worst moment was when finally on the plane, the flight crew had the bloody cheek to state the delay wasn’t their fault and could do anything about it….
