The Difficult Case Of A Social Disabled

Posted on Sunday 13 April 2008

Yesterday S celebrated her birthday at our place. She’s living in the far suburb, I guess she didn’t want to organize anything at her place for that matter. The party went fine, the first part, until the phenomenon, the magic M play his best moves for everybody. I was delighted… Trying to put in words how he operates is something nearly no one can do. He’s too much of the finest social retard to be described in a couple of hundreds lines. In a slightly short amount of time he is able to ruin the fun of anyone. I have no idea how he managed to survive until now. Anyone near a screw driver might have thought of pulling his tongue out and stab it. His arrogance and stupidity is something cute that makes most of the people smile. The real problem occurs when he’s inventing stories to descredit people for the only interest of rising himself up. No matter who you are, if you’re in the middle of a conversation with someone and he is left alone, he will grab your words, start talking on it, and a minute later put himself at your place litteraly pushing you away. If the center of attention is not on him, then god knows what he is capable of… That’s why people around him that knows the case try to do their best to avoid that scenario.
The more pathetic moment is when he is asking me: “Hey Mal, why does this guy/girl doesn’t like me? I mean I barely know him/her…” or “Hey Mal, Why does he/she is always silent when we’re going out? Is he/she shy or something?” I’m most of time responding to that ‘provocation’ with a node or just say, “I don’t know” . Oh yes I have tried many times to explain him that the person is not shy but he’s crushing and running over anyone not on his radar/interest. Of course I got a: “Haha, no” for answer as if I was joking or something.
I’m reaching the point now when I’m questioning the sake of that move. How about just telling him to go fuck himself? People won’t understand I guess. I’m going to go for a less drastic measure: A a real life ‘rigth-click -> block contact -> /ignore’
