An Unproductive Day - Kind Of

Posted on Monday 4 February 2008

I haven’t been writing anything interesting lately. I guess that has to do with the hibernating process people (including me) are getting into. Or just some laziness from my side. All in all Sun is coming back! As a matter of fact the sun is shinning like it never has today. I spent 15 minutes eyes-closed, day dreaming in the sofa of the third floor with my coffee this morning. The week-end has been passing at an extreme speed. This Monday starts as a non-productive day for me. One of the several reasons is that the day is beautiful. The sun is shining and it turns you as a sort of vegetable not able to do anything else than closing your eyes and enjoy. The beginning of the week is special: It’s Sprengidagur (Mardi Gras), Bolladagur and Öskudagur. Hence today you can’t miss the Bollur. They’re everywhere. Those kind of donuts gives you enough sugar to survive the winter they said. I tried and I have to say I had my sugar rush ;) Now I can’t leave my bottle of water far from my desk, that would be suicidal.

In another subject, Lost is coming back this week! It aired last Friday on TV in the US. I plan to see the s04e01 tonight after my Islensku namskeið. I have no idea what is going to happen. I haven’t read anything about it to save my fun and avoid spoilers. After a boring s02 and an astonished s03 I guess anything can happen really.

Finally, I’m going to share the big buzz of the moment: Maskinen - “Alla som inte dansar är våldtäktsmän”

I must admit: I skipped the whole season 2. I did try to watch it, but I just couldn’t. it was too boring. the third season I watched in a week - last week as I was in finland and now I’m already looking forward to the new episode on thursday!
