A Not So Clever Move After All

Posted on Thursday 7 February 2008

She came over with the horrible face of someone that hasn’t seen the sun for years. She sat and I started my speech. She found nothing to say to it. I explain clearly with some little hesitation what the problem was. I think she was really surprised that I wasn’t fooled by her childish huckter’s plan. Now she has to think about it and discuss with the appropriate person. Fair enough, I’m going to wait. Since then she has been ignoring me like child does when they’re upset…
I don’t really know what to think about all this. I couldn’t accept to be conned and taken for a fool. But somehow I knew this chat would turn our gentle acquaintance sour. It’s so frustrating to have someone in front of you that makes you feel guilty when you just try to explain a point of view and ask nothing else that: “What do you think about it?” It’s as she was miffed not to face a dull person.
